Today we are going to tell you some risks which are involved in rooting of your android smartphone and which can also harm your smartphone.

Warranty Void:

If you have rooted your android smartphone, you have already lost the warranty of your smartphone. If in nearby future any fault happens in your device and still your smartphone is in the warranty period you can’t take benefit of the warranty cover because you have rooted your smartphone and the warranty is voided.

Your Smartphone can turn into Brick:

There is a term related to rooting and that term is called Brick. We use this term when our smartphone is no more useful than a brick and can use it as a paperweight. Some of the smartphones while rooting can be bricked if the person who is doing the rooting procedure is not having proper knowledge regarding rooting. Less battery life, turning off your smartphone while you are rooting it can also turn your smartphone into a bricked one. So the person which is going to root the smartphone should have proper knowledge regarding rooting and should keep the safety measures in mind before rooting.

Bad Performance:

One major reason why most of the people root their device is that they want to get the maximum out of their smartphone. When I rooted my smartphone I was amazed with the processing speed after rooting. No doubt you get great speed after you have rooted but sometimes there situations happens when things don’t go right and the performance of your smartphone is harmed. You will get new modifications to your smartphone but on the other hand you can lose some of the features with one being the speed of your device.

Virus Breach:

One major risk which is involved in rooting is that your device can get infected easily. After rooting your smartphone becomes vulnerable to viruses/ malwares. You should right away install and antivirus in your mobile phone once you have rooted it. Moreover the developers can also take advantage of your cell’s privacy if you are using any custom ROM and if it is not a verified one.
