When it comes to custom ROMs, everyone has their own taste and choice. There’s also a possibility that you might not like any custom ROM, and that you might have a fantasy Custom ROM of your own. You’re idea might be good one, not only for you but for the android world. But the problem is that not everyone is a master programmer and neither to most people have exposure to the developing world, so how do people who don’t know programming and developing, make their own custom ROM without getting into huge complications that might confuse hen and leas them to errors that they might not know how to solve?

Well, I can tell you one thing; there is no shortcut method to doing this. You will need time, energy, and strong memory to make a custom ROM for yourself. Not to mention, you must have some little experience with system files (not much, but something that’ll keep you confident). So, the simplest method to doing this is through a useful tool developed by an XDA forum member for beginners and newbies, that will make the developing process fairly shorter and simpler and will hopefully get the job done at the end! The tool I’m talking about is named:
Android Kitchen:
This is what will get you what you want without going through maddening coding, day in and day out, which can potentially lead to an error as well. The fact to be remembered here is that this incredible tool developed by XDA will actually help you design the custom ROM through extremely simplified processes that will guarantee in a safe and code free input. What I’m trying to say here is that, like the developers that make custom ROMs, you will not have to go mad with codes and programming, you will just got through some simple folder making, some heavy installations, a little coding (3- 4 syllables) still less compared to what actual developers have to go through, and some good old planning. If kept in mind, these points will help you in making your fantasy ROM in a jiffy. Well, not in a jiffy exactly, but there’ll be no long term coding.
You start by download the kitchen from this
link:
Along with a Java JDK, and Cygwin. You can download these from the original XDA thread given at the end. After successfully downloading these and setting up the kitchen by following the wizard instructions, you will now make you’re working folder and start drawing up your blueprints for the Custom ROM. This will not be an easy task, but it still beats learning difficult and confusing codes. Beginners always feel alienated to these ways, so it’s better to use other alternative ways like the Android Kitchen to get the desired outcome, in this case; you custom ROM.
So, don’t go into numerous complications with coding methods. Take the easy way and end up with the same good results. To know how to actually use this tool to make the ROM, go to the original thread
